PERTHSHIRE OPEN STUDIOS - 3-11 SEPTEMBER 2011

The Perthshire Open Studios event offers visitors the unique opportunity to get to know local artists and makers.

In the studios can be found a variety of artwork including paintings, sculptures, photographs, stained glass, woodwork, ceramics, jewellery, metalwork and much more.

Visiting the studios will give you a chance to understand where artists' inspiration comes from and to ask questions about their work. Most artists will have work in progress or will give demonstrations; others will run workshops and visitors might even be tempted to have a go.

In all cases there will be an opportunity to purchase or commission pieces of original work directly from the artists. Also remember that most of the artists/makers/galleries can be contacted before and after the event.
